AIR MAX 1 ’86 MNS WMNS “Big Bubble”

The Women’s Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble – Red” is the women’s sizing for the special release from Nike’s “Air Max Day” 2023 which brings back the original construction of the iconic running shoe. Based on the original Air Max 1 prototype from late 1986, the Air Max 1 ‘86 “Big Bubble” features a bigger visible Max Air cushioning bubble in the heel of the foam midsole, a design that is consistent with the OG release. Also like the original Air Max 1, this iteration features a white mesh base with light grey synthetic overlays. The shoe’s University Red mudguard and Swoosh are also inspired by the original Air Max 1. Classic “Nike Air” and “Air Max 1” branding appear on the heel and tongue tag, respectively.
