AE 1 “MX Charcoal”

The adidas AE1 “MX Charcoal” is a dark-colored makeup of NBA star Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe with adidas Basketball. On the “MX Charcoal,” the upper of the shoe features a black knit textile base with a grey marbled TPU “cage” with perforations in a honeycomb pattern that assist in breathability. Edwards’ signature branding appears on the woven tongue tag, while adidas Three Stripes branding can be found on the heel. Underfoot, the midsole is designed with a combination of adidas’s Boost and Lightstrike cushioning for superior performance and energy return. Release date: August 2024
